Are you a new Mom and unsure of what exercises to do? You want to get back to the exercises you love but you don’t know where to start?
I work with women everyday who tell me that they don’t know how to get back to exercise after pregnancy. That they want to be strong again and get back to their gym classes or running.
I have set out the exact steps you need to follow to reconnect your pelvic floor and core, find your stack so that any exercises you do are safe and effective.
Most postpartum programmes skip the basics, they just simplify the exercises you were doing before pregnancy but don’t allow for the changes to your core, breathing patterns and pelvic floor. Everything usually goes OK until you increase the weight or want to get back running and then OH NO, leaks or other pelvic floor issues!
I know that it doesn’t work like that, building a great foundation with breathing and mobility will set you up for success no matter what exercise you choose to do afterwards.
What you can expect?
Straight forward workouts you can follow at home with your baby or toddler. The mini course includes 2 recorded workouts and 1 live workout per week!
With my REPS method you will start by
Step 1: Reconnect your core and pelvic floor. Realign your posture and learn to stack ribs over hips
Step 2: Empathy for yourself, your symptoms and situation - you won’t always have leaking or prolapse symptoms but learning how to manage them helps you progress and get stronger.
Step 3: Progress with weights, impact and intensity - yes the fun stuff!
Step 4: Stay consistent - don’t get bored of the basic rehab and learn how to exercise no matter what life throws at you

I am a qualified pregnancy and postpartum coach and founder of Fit Mná.
My online classes and programmes have helped 100s of women during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I have helped women to heal diastasis and leaking so they can get back to the exercises they love.
I understand the challenges around training during pregnancy and balancing the demands of motherhood and exercise as I have also trained throughout my own pregnancy and postpartum journey.
BABS Basics is the first step in getting back to the exercises you love. Because not doing what you love is NOT an option.
